David K. Penrod
David is a co-owner of MedPoint Asset Management. As an Attorney, David has had extensive experience representing medical professionals in a full range of legal matters. David brings his legal experience to MedPoint to provide effective consulting services to medical professionals and companies throughout the United States.
David is a graduate of Idaho State University. He attended law school at the University of Idaho, in Moscow, Idaho. David is admitted to practice before the Idaho State Bar and Wyoming State Bar.
David’s legal experience includes clerking for District Court Judge William H. Woodland, successfully worked in private practice and ultimately became a partner in an AV rate law firm, which is the highest possible rating for a law firm.
After years of practicing law, David partnered with Jesse Wakley in 2010 to form MedPoint Asset Management. Together, David and Jesse have created a business that provides valuable consulting services and tools to medical providers. David has enjoyed working with medical professionals to increase their profitablity and efficiency.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife Stephanie and his four children. He has a strong appreciation for early American History and loves to travel. He also enjoys many recreational activities, including golf and cycling.
Jesse is a co-owner of MedPoint Asset Management. As a Software Developer, PACS/CPACS Administrator, RIS Administrator, HL7 specialist and RRT, Jesse has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Healthcare Industry. Jesse brings this experience to MedPoint to provide comprehensive solutions to the many inefficienies inherent in the world of medicine.
Jesse is a graduate of Idaho State University. He operates a software development company which produces applications for healthcare facilities and physician groups, as well as customized solutions for MedPoint clients.
Jesse's medical experience began as a Radiology Technologist for a short while, then as the PACS Administrator for several facilities simultaneously over an 8 year period. Due to a heavy workload during this time, he developed customized software to eradicate the many inefficiencies he encountered.
Jesse partnered with David Penrod in 2010 to form MedPoint Asset Management. The software Jesse created to automate the auditing of the revenue cycle has created a new "standard of care" for healthcare administration.
Outside of work, Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and his four children. He also enjoys camping, cycling and skiing.
